If your local wireless provider support GPRS / 3G / HSPDA, or simply said, Mobile Internet Connection, then all good. Send instant message free to anyone anywhere in the world. Again, there are 3 things you need for this: A friend with iPhone, mobile internet connection, and of course, Ping! app itself. The good thing is that this app support PUSH notification, so you will be notify when you received a new message, anywhere anytime. You can get "Ping! lite" for free. or full version of "Ping!" for US$ 0.99 / NZ$1.29. Well said, start saving by using this app!

"GAMES" apps

These are some of my games apps recommendation for you:

1. RiverCross
The goal of this logic puzzle game is to move all the characters from left side of the river to the right side of the river with specific conditions. Too easy you think? try it yourself. Time is the only limit for this game. The faster you can cross them, the better you are, or shall I say, "the smarter you are?" Try it for free, or get the full version for US$0.99 / NZ$1.29

2. Titanic: Hidden expedition
Search those lost artifacts from the shipwreck. With 17 unique locations and hundreds of items to find, you will never find this game the same, even though you have played it  over and over.  What makes it even more fun is the small screen of iPod/iPhone. So start recover those precious artifacts! Get it for US$4.99 / NZ$6.49

3. iSniper
Good for players that have great eyesight and have a dream of becoming a sniper. It will be very hard to find those enemies of yours in the game. Great game. It's FREE for a limited time.

That would be it for now. Will recommend you more apps later on as I play around with my iPhone.

PS. Currently we have an unseasonably weather in Auckland. It's wet and cold in the morning, hot and dry in the afternoon :(

My first post, iPhone 3GS

I am currently lost my way in life, but I am getting my feet back and start walking toward my dreams.

I decided to create this blog and start writing here to share to you readers, my experience with technology and other stuff in life.

I have a passion in trying new technologies and gadgets, but as I have limited financial source, I could not try them all. But I have the privilege to access some of them. First, excuse my "broken English" as English is not my first language, but I try my best to write things correctly :)

I just want to talk a bit about iPhone 3GS for my first post. I had a bad first impression towards iPhone range. But after a series of unfortunate events (including malfunction of my xperia X1), I give iPhone a chance. It is a great phone to have, with heaps of available tiny apps to download (both free and paid apps), I have no regret buying my iPhone 3GS. The best thing about iPhone in New Zealand is that it's not locked to 1 network only, so you can go anywhere else in the world, pop your local SIM card to your iPhone and viola! It will work! No need for jail breaking your iPhone (of course you have to setup the iPhone to your local network settings, like SMS, MMS, and internet server settings).

I bought my iPhone from Vodafone New Zealand, with a contract it cost NZ$699 to buy a 16GB iPhone 3GS. So it worth the price. Now I have the ability to check my daily stock prices, exchange rates, and other stuff with a single tap.

Next post will be my very own itunes apps recommendation.

Thank you for reading my post.
